David Kinsey: Scrap-album/diary

Scrap-album compiled by David Kinsey (1816-93), Llandinam, co. Montgomery, monumental mason and postmaster, comprising memorial cards of persons deceased in Llandinam and adjoining parishes, 1852-1918; photographs, posters and press cuttings, largely of local interest; examples of late nineteenth-century Christmas and Valentine greeting cards; and a 'memorandum of particular events', 1838-1899 (ff. 101-72v inverted text) mainly in co. Montgomery but including also references to national and international events and affairs. The 'memorandum' was compiled by David Kinsey until 1891 and continued to 1899 by his son John (d. 1905).
