Administrative / Biographical History
Pittodrie estate, Chapel of Garioch parish, Aberdeenshire, was in the hands of the Erskine family from 1602. It was succeeded by Henry Knight Erskine, Esq. (b 1858) in 1870, and remained in his hands in 1901.
