Contents include: documents concerning the Black Prince's principality of Aquitaine, 1362-1365. (ff.1-5r) Seven documents concerning English rights in Gascony, 1292-1363. (ff.5v-11r) The Treaty of Berwick on Tweed, 1357, and a memorandum on Scottish hostages. (ff.11v-15v) outline of events concerning the English claim to Scotland, 1291-1357. (ff.15v-16v)

Note

This manuscript was created in England in the 15th century. It is written in Latin and French, in a fine secretary hand and includes elaborate penwork initials which include depictions of a mermaid, complete with mirror and comb, and an angel.
