Journals of John Sidney Doyle concerning visits to Germany comprising:

  • the second part of a journal of a visit to Germany, 1821-2, containing an early description of a Christmas tree
  • a journal attributed to John Sidney Doyle of 3 trips to Germany, the first accompanying Prince George of Cambridge in May-July 1832, the second Aug.-Nov. 1832 and the third in Aug. 1850.

John Sidney Doyle (fl 19th century), possibly John Sidney Doyle North (d. 1894) who took the name North in 1838.
