Scope and Content

The majority of the papers consist of articles and longer works by Bryan Little on the history of the West Country, as well as journals, notes, and manuscripts edited by Bryan Little.

Administrative / Biographical History

Bryan Little was an extra-mural lecturer and member of staff at the University of Bristol, and a prolific author on the subject of history, particularly the history of south-west England. His considerable library and notes were bequeathed to the University of Bristol on his death.

The diaries of Bryan Little are closed until December 2042. The articles and local history papers of Bryan Little are accessible to all bona fide readers.
