Two Years in the Infant School was published in 1938 under the supervision of Enid Blyton. The scheme of work contains eighty four Topics presented as weekly programmes of work to cover the infant school curriculum.
For each Topic there is a large colour illustration and accompanying notes - The Talk (an introduction to the theme for the teacher to give to the pupils), Oral Composition and Language Training, Poems and Jingles, Reading Preparation, Writing, Number, Drawing and Handiwork, Dramatisation, Musical Activities, Games, Stories and Songs.
