Administrative / Biographical History
Little Horkesley Provident Club was set up to provide clothing for the industrious and deserving poor of the village of Horkesley. The club was established and supported by subscriptions of those who were more affluent. Little Horkesley is a small village north of Colchester on the Essex/Suffolk county border.
