Administrative / Biographical History

Aubrey Silberston is the author of numerous books and articles on economics and management. In 1987 he was appointed Professor of Economics at Imperial College, London, and Emeritus Professor following his retirement in 1987. He was Secretary General of the Royal Economic Society from 1979 to 1992, and a Vice-President since 1992. In 1987 he was awarded the CBE
