Scope and Content

Royal pardon to Sir John Jolles Kt for having alienated in 1617 property including the manor of Henton in Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, the manor of Goddescroft in South Lynn, Norfolk, and other land in Wiggenhall St Peter and South Lynn, Norfolk late in the occupation of William Fenne, to Thomas Russell and Alex Ardington as trustees for himself, his wife, and, after their decease, to Banett? Poyntell and his heirs, remainder to Alice Towars and her heirs. Wanting seal, endorsed: 'relating to the manor of Haughton alias Henton and other estates / (51) / (5)'.
