Reece in the Supreme Court of Hong Kong relating to political developments in North Borneo and Sarawak from 1946 onwards, an expert opinion in the case of Dr. Jeffrey Datuk Kitingan and the Crown Solicitor, in which Dr. Kitingan was alleged to have been involved in a secessionist plot in Sabah (North Borneo), 1993.

Administrative / Biographical History
Professor Robert H.W. Reece is Associate Professor of History at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia, and was the Keith Cameron Professor of Australian History at University College, Dublin, 1987-1989 as well as Director of Australia's first Centre for Irish Studies in 1998. A member of the Australian Historical Association and the Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, his research interests include Irish convicts, the history of Borneo and Aboriginal history.
