John Barfote, clerk, John Holden and Edward Burton imparted with John Bourghchier Lord Berners, lord of the manor of Iklyngham Berners concerning land in the manor which they sought to recover him and from the church of Iklyngham Berners whose representatives did not appear. Lord Berners called upon Thomas Fysshe as warrantor. Judgment going against him by default the plaintiff's claim succeeded and Lord Berners was granted compensation from the estates of the warrantor. A seal, partially intact, is attached.
