Administrative / Biographical History

David Wilkins, properly Wilke, (d 1745) a Prussian, was Archdeacon of Suffolk, a classical scholar and an antiquary. He was editor of the Concilia Magnae Britanniae et Hiberniae, a synodo Verolamiensi, A.D. 446 ad Londinensem, A.D. 1717. Accedunt, constitutiones et alia ad historiam Ecclesiae Anglicanae spectantia (London 1737). Details are given in the Dictionary of National Biography.
