The material here covers solely Sang's appointment to the Animal Breeding and Genetics Research Organisation and the subsequent difficulties within the Organisation, including matters surrounding the official ARC enquiry. Contains:

Coll-1391/1: Papers concerning Sang's appointment at the Animal Breeding and Genetics Research Organisation (May-June 1948);

Coll-1391/2: Papers relating to the official Agricultural Research Council enquiry (1950-1952);

Coll-1391/3: Drafts and notes relating to the ARC enquiry and surrounding issues (c.1951).

The original system of arrangement has been maintained. Papers are arranged in reverse chronological order within folders.

Some material is restricted and cannot be produced.

The papers were donated to Edinburgh University Library Special Collections, in September 2012.
