John Smyth of Hanley confirms his gift to Thomas Lylie of Hanley, of an acre of arable land in ['in territorio de'] Hanley, lying between crofts of Peter de Hanley and the aforesaid John, and abutting ['buttat'] the vill at one end, and Wetfeld at the other. To be held of John and his heirs [sic], reserving annual rent of one penny. At Hanley, deed poll, witnessed by Robert Thomsone, Roger Ibottsone, William Reg', John de Hanley, and others. Tagged pendant white round seal.
