Records accumulated by Paul Settatree & Co., 1788-1972, including deeds and other papers relating to properties in Ambleston, Camrose, Dinas, Fishguard, Goodwick, Haverfordwest, Hubberston, Llanhowel, Llanrhian, Manorbier, Mathry, Nantycoy, Narberth, Newport, Prendergast, Rosemarket, St Davids, St Dogwells, Steynton, Tenby, Treffgarne, Walton West and Whitchurch, Pembrokeshire; Ruabon and Wrexham, Denbighshire; Llanwonno, Glamorgan; Whitchurch, Shropshire; Mendham, Norfolk; Lower Tooting, Surrey; and Ufford, Suffolk; 1788-1972; wills, 1861-1959, and grants and letters of administration, 1862-1955, relating mostly to Pembrokeshire; and agreements relating to the maintenance of illegitimate children, 1911-1938.

Administrative / Biographical History

Paul Settatree & Co. was a firm of solicitors established by Paul Settatree in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, in 1979. In 1983, it incorporated Eaves and Co. Paul Settatree retired in 2000, and the firm was purchased by Lowless & Lowless in 2004. In the course of its work, the form accumulated records relating to its clients' interests in Pembrokeshire and elsewhere, in addition to wills and probate records.
