Scope and Content

In the Accounts for the 32nd year of Elizabeth [1589-1590] in the account of Thomas Askham of the rectory of Whittlesford. A certain sum received as rent for the said rectory demised to Thomas Askham, Margaret Rampston his mother and Giles Askham his brother by Letters Patent dated 20 June 1579 for the term of their lives. The said rent allotted by the Queen by Letters Patent dated 30 July [1590] to Dudley Askham son of Margaret Rampston for life. Subscribed by Justinian Povey.
