Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Glasgow University Scottish Country Dance Club (GUSCDC) was founded in 1955 and aims to teach and promote Scottish Country Dancing in the University of Glasgow and to foster interest in dancing in general.
GUSCDC not only teaches dancing, but also organises social events and festivals as well as annual balls in conjunction with other Scottish university dance clubs and hold. GUSCDC is still in operation today and meets for classes during term time. For more information on the club please see their website .
