Administrative / Biographical History
Norman E Hill was born on 7th March 1928 to Charles Edward and Rose Hill (nee Dade). The family lived at 50 Lock Road, Ham. From 1940 to 1943, Norman kept detailed diaries of air raids as he experienced them, as well as weather and other conditions. In 1943, Norman got a job at a bank, and in 1950 he married Stella Sims in Newton Abbot. He died in 2008.
