Administrative / Biographical History
The SOAS Women's Club was a social club for female staff which held its inaugural meeting in March 1987. The Club was open to current and former female staff of SOAS on payment of a subscription. It had a committee consisting of a chair, two joint secretaries, a treasurer and other members. The Club organised talks and other social events (including an annual dinner), and published a newsletter. The Club appears to have met for the last time in 2003.
