Scope and Content

A volume, [20 cent., first ½], containing typescript transcripts of letters, 1855-1858, from Captain Henry William Heaton of the 14th Foot regiment, written to his mother whilst serving in the Crimean War and later as a rifle instructor with the British Army in Greece.
