Scope and Content

Newsletters, reports, manuals, miscellaneous papers, photographs, letters, leaflets and books relating to the Mothercraft Training Society which was based at Cromwell House, Highgate Hill from 1925 to 1951. The Mothercraft Training Society trained expectant and new mothers, nurses, midwives, and health visitors in 'mothercraft', with the aim of bringing down infant mortality.
