Surviving papers of the author, Elinor Lyon. The collection includes a significant quantity of draft material relating to unpublished works, including stories and poems written by Elinor Lyon when she was a child; manuscript drafts and author's proofs for her published works; personal papers, including professional correspondence, reviews and financial records; and a quantity of original artwork, including paintings and drawings produced by Elinor Lyon when she was a child and original illustrations for many of Lyon's published works.

Custodial History
Papers were kept by Elinor Lyon until her death in 2008, when they were then transferred to the home of Roger Wright, Lyon's eldest son. The collection was donated to Seven Stories by Roger Wright, on behalf of Elinor Lyon's family, in 2009.
