Administrative / Biographical History

The correspondence relates primarily to her husband Edward Adrian Wilson and his participation in two Antarctic Expeditions (the British National Antarctic Expedition, 1901-1904 and the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910-1913 both led by Robert Falcon Scott). Recipients include Hannah Scott (mother of Robert Falcon Scott) and Apsley Cherry-Garrard in regard to his book The worst journey in the world which recounts the latter expedition.
