On 14 Dec 1814 the master, fellows or scholars of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, leased to Thomas Whittred esq of Newnham, a tenement with garden in Newnham, on a 40-year lease. In consideration of #40, Whittred now assigns the residue of the lease to William Anderson esq of Cambridge. See also Doc 1899, 1900. Signed and sealed by both parties, witnessed by John Finch, duty stamps. Endorsed with receipt for consideration money, signed by Whittred and witnessed by Finch.
