Articles were either developed from speeches given, or commissioned specifically for magazines or periodicals. The series also includes some draft material for pieces that were not published. Files are frequently marked 'Articles and talks'. Material relating to other speeches given by Westall during the course of his work as a teacher, for example, is found in RW/09.
