Correspondence

Correspondence addressed to Westall, and later Lindy McKinnel, concerning various aspects of the production and reception of Westall's work. Correspondence concerning book production includes letters and faxes from professional contacts covering a wide range of topics including the development, editorial process, pre-publication design and rights issues for Westall's work. Correspondence also covers many aspects of the work's reception, including letters from professional contacts covering publicity related subjects and several files of letters from readers. Copies of Westall's own letters were not kept consistently, however one file (RW/14/06/04) of letters sent as faxes is catalogued in this series. Correspondence addressed to Westall was occasionally annotated by him, either as a reply to faxed letters or with apparently unrelated notes.
