Administrative / Biographical History
Inhabitants of the village of Ravensthorpe came together to create a village festival based around the intention of beating the record for creating a coat from sheep to wearer, previously held by the Throckmorton Coat in 1811. This collection was recorded by Anthony Wornum, Senior Assistant Recordist for the BBC Film Department at Ealing film studios as training experience.
