Photograph Album from the estate of Mary Elizabeth Liquorice. Includes mixed Anglesey images, Gwynedd and Conwy.

Mary Elizabeth Liquorice (1923 - 2020) was the only surviving child of William John and Louisa Jane Liquorice of Peterborough. William's eldest sister, Annie Elizabeth Liquorice (1872 - 1975) married in 1899 one William Smith (1875 - 1949). The latter was apprenticed as a carpenter & joiner, but at some point joined the LNWR and worked for the railway at Menai Bridge and/or Bangor. MEL's parents often spent their summer holidays with the Smith's at Menai Bridge. MEL qualified as a Librarian, and spent her entire professional career at Peterborough Central Library. Obits appeared in the Information Professional and the Annual Report of the Peterborough Civic Society.
