Administrative / Biographical History
The Roman Catholic Feminists organisation was established in 1977. They were based in London N21. The Roman Catholic Feminists were part of a wider movement happening in the Church in the 1970s, including the establishment of the Homosexual and Gay Christian Movement (1976), movements for the ordination of women (1978) and married men (1977), the Feminist Theology Project (1979) and the Catholic Lesbian Sisterhood (1979).
