APPRENTICESHIP INDENTURE: John Jones of the County Borough of Carmarthen of his own free will and by and with the consent of his father David Jones of the same place, victualler and shopkeeper […] doth put himself apprentice to Richard Hughes of the said County of the Borough of Carmarthen, house carpenter and joiner. To serve from the ninth day of May 1859, unto the full end and term of five years.
