Collection of loose prints, most measuring approximately 275 x 205 mm., with brief pencilled captions on the reverse. Numbers 1-5 are platinum prints, distinguishable from silver prints by the delicacy and softness of tonal gradation. This fine process, substituting platinum for silver compounds as the light reactive substance in the paper, died out at around the time of the Great War due to the increase in the price of the metal. Number 6 is a bromide print of a later date than numbers 1-5. All photographs are by Pedrotti except number 6, the photographer of which is unknown.
