This oral history collection comprises 37 interviews looking at foxhunting and the impact of the Hunting Act 2004. This project was initiated in 2005 by Melton Mowbray Museum with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Copyright is held by Leicestershire County Council.

Administrative / Biographical History

The project 'Foxhunting: Past, Present, Future?' ran for one year from October 2005 in the Melton Mowbray area. The aim was to impartially record the impact of the Hunting Act (2004) from all points of view and discover other fox hunting collections.
