Scope and Content

Dramatical Productions, 1948-1953 including typescripts of short stories and plays 1948-1953 (c). These include a copy of Brethyn Cartre by Islwyn Williams broadcast 1948 (c), a poem by Islwyn Williams entitled Y Beddau a Wlych y Glaw, three copies of untitled plays, a typescript of Charles Edwards entitled Lyn y Fan, a copy of Ben Davies, Panteg 1953 (c), two copies of Blaen Tawe by Islwyn Williams, a short story by Islwyn Williams called Rhaglunieth', a short story by D.G. Williams called Y Potsier, a short story entitled Saron by D.G. Williams. The collection also includes typescripts of Pum Gwr-Pum Plwy and accompanying notes, 1950.

Administrative / Biographical History

D.G. Williams and Islwyn Williams were both writers in Welsh of plays and short stories during the mid twentieth century. Islwyn Williams was born in 1903 and died in 1957. Many of his plays and short stories were written for radio broadcast.
