Scope and Content

A vocabulary of Bajau (Sra) as spoken by the Bajans of the East Coast of British North Borneo, 84 pages, containing English and Bajan words in parallel columns, in alphabetical order of English. Some pencilled notes give the Tempasuk equivalent of certain words.

Richard Martin Oscar Cook was Assistant District Officer, Simporna, British North Borneo, at the time when he compiled the vocabulary.
