Scope and Content

These seven engravings (which are all

about 9'' by 7'') are all part of what was

probably a larger set of views of

English buildings, published by

Alexander Hogg of 16 Paternoster Row.

They are undated, but the appearance of

the engravings, and the dress of some

the people drawn in the pictures,

suggests that a date of the 1750s is

not too far wrong.

The names of the designers of the

engravings are given by each item.
