Album of photographs, two to a page, measuring approximately 150 x 100 mm, and all captioned beneath the print. The majority of the photographs depict indigenous people, the captions identify them by tribe or place in English or German, pencilled on loose labels. Images of tribal people and habitat, Head houses, idols and artefacts, village scenes, women, children, family groups etc. in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, New Hebrides (Malekula) and including some North Australian aborigines.
