Original pen and ink drawings backed on scrap card by the satirical cartoonist Furnival.

Administrative / Biographical History

Furnival was a cartoonist based in the North West and was active during the 1930s and 1940s, he provided cartoons for the Manchester Evening News and the Lancashire Evening Post and in particular depicted many scenes of Lancashire cricket.
