Scope and Content

Typescript circulars (mostly not for publication), and internal bulletins with occasional hand-written alterations. Overall themes are Trotskyism and the Fourth International. Mostly in Spanish. Topics include Vietnam War, Libya after the 1969 coup, Argentina, Portugal, Nixon's visit to China, Uruguayan section, French Communist Party, Poland, education of children, mathematics.

Administrative / Biographical History

Juan Posadas was the pseudonym of Homero Cristalli Frasnelli, who was born in Argentina in 1912. He joined the Partido de la Revolucion Socialista in 1941 and was the leader of the Latin American bureau of the Fourth International for some years. The Posadists formed their own section of the Fourth International in 1962.
