Transcript of a record of the Court of Wards and Liveries, by which Sir Robert Naunton, Master of the said Court assigns wardship [on the direction of His Majesty King Charles I] to Phillip Earl of Pembroke and John, Earl of Carbery, of Thomas Posthumous Lower and the estate of his deceased father, Sir William Lower in Llanfihangel Abercowin. This assignment is an account of Sir Roberts' interest in the estate, as he has since married Lady Penelope Lower, widow of Sir William Lower and also so that a marriage portion may be made for Sir William's daughter, Lady Dorothy, now wife of Sir Maurice Drommond [to become payable on the marriage of Thomas Posthumous Lower, when he shall enter into his father's estate].
