This oral history collection comprises 9 interviews with members of Nottinghamshire NUM Ex and Retired Miners Association, members of Clipstone Community Regeneration Group and individuals from mining villages. The recordings were made by Jay Emery for his undergraduate dissertation and later masters dissertation. The main subjects covered are the 1984 miners’ strike, policing, impact of mine closures, changing community from 1960s to present.
