Administrative / Biographical History
Geoffrey Miles Clifford was born in 1879. He served as Governor to the Falkland Islands and Dependencies from 1946. He was involved with the committee of management of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, 1955-1958 (leader Vivian Fuchs) He died in February 1986
