Scope and Content

William Fennell of Little Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, nephew and devisee of William Barber of Exeter, deceased, John Fennell of Widdington, Essex, George Fennell of Little Berkhamstead Hertfordshire, John Phipps junior of Campton, Bedfordshire and James Dobson of Broxbourne, Hertfordshire sell to Thomas Augustus Ridlington of Gough Square, London certain land in Shefford for the term of one year at a peppercorn rent, in order that he may be in possession and able to accept a release. Witnesses: Edward Cooch, Robert Cooch. Five seals are attached.
