Administrative / Biographical History
Griffith Evans lived at Drws y Coed, Rhyd-ddu, Caernarfonshire. Rhyd-ddu is a village located at the foot of the highest mountain in Wales, Snowdon. One of the village's most well-known children was T. H. Parry-Williams, the poet. He was born in Rhyd-ddu, where his father was a schoolmaster, and in 1912 he won the crown and the chair at the National Eisteddfod.
