Administrative / Biographical History

Emily MacLeod was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, and lived in India before the First World War where her husband, R. H. MacLeod, was in the Indian Civil Service. She was involved in volunteer work and Paymaster to soldiers at the 1st Eastern General Hospital, Cambridge, in 1916.
