Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Caernarfonshire County Council Land Agent was responsible for matters such as civil defence exercises, agricultural law, forestry, smallholdings and land drainage in the county. During the early 20th century the Land Agent was Ellis H. Jones. The Caernarfonshire Rivers Catchment Board was set up in the 1940s and took over responsibility for rivers from the Land Agent.
