Two notebooks containing detailed notes on legal cases, with summaries of proceedings, citations of precedents and epitomes of judgements. The notebooks may have been compiled by an attorney or clerk involved in the cases, or by a court reporter, and the notes appear to have been made in the course of the court proceedings. There is a table of contents at the front of the second volume, listing the cases in each legal term.
