Scope and Content

Miscellaneous correspondence, 1945-1966, of Lady Megan Lloyd George (1902-1966), Member of Parliament for Anglesey, 1929-1951, and for Carmarthen, 1957-1966. Most of the letters are from Lady Megan to her secretary Helena Dightam or to the latter's son, Adrian. They are mainly in note form and undated but most appear to have been written during the period 1962-1965. Also included are six letters from Lady Olwen Carey Evans to Helena Dightam, 1965-1966, letters to Lady Megan from James Callaghan (1) 1951, Clement Attlee (2) 1966, and Harold Wilson (2) 1966, and related items, 1966-1970.
