A collection of verses and translations by Mary Anne Bacon, with Reboul, boulanger de Lyons: 'Elegie a une Mere' (fo. 6v). Most of the verses are initialled and dated.

Bibliography

The verses on fos 2 and 10v were published in Winged thoughts (London, 1851), under the titles of 'Modern Sport' and 'Ancient Sport' respectively. Others were printed at various dates in the Norwich Mercury and other publications, as is indicated by notes at the foot of the verses.
