Administrative / Biographical History

During the First and Second World Wars and later, the St John Ambulance and the British Red Cross worked together to provide various welfare services to servicemen and civilians. Pembrokeshire Joint Committee was involved with caring for disabled ex-servicemen, providing emergency help and after care and assisting with blood transfusions.
