The notebook was begun mid-16th century, and contains a formulary and chronicle of the creations of peers and Knights of the Garter, the coronation of Anne Boleyn, and statutes of the Order of the Garter. It was continued in the late 16th century, possibly by Nicholas Paddy (d.1602), with descents of baronies in the female line, and 57 heraldic obituaries, 1579-1600 (with name; place of abode; date; place of death; name of spouse; spouse's parents; names, age and status of children; burial date and place; location of tomb; executors; preacher at funeral; pall bearers; heralds in attendance; and expenses). 171 folios.
